OC Screen Writers Association (OCSWA) is hosting its first industry networking event at Newport Beach's swank Ritz Restaurant in Fashion Island. And just in case you think you already know everybody...

...who's worth knowing in the industry, they've invited Hollywood entertainment attorney, James Hirsen as a special guest. You've seen Hirsen on Fox News Channel, CNN and MSNBC. He is also a frequent guest on all the top syndicated shows in radio. And if you know anything about Hollywood and the Film/TV industry you've read his blog and website. He's a best-selling author and cultural reporter, who keeps audiences entertained and informed. And no, he's not buying the drinks. In fact it's a buy-your-own event. But the atmosphere you'll be paying for is well worth it-Yes, it's The Ritz.

The Ritz is one of So Cals' great socializing and business dining locations. Elegant with award winning classic and contemporary cuisine, the Ritz has live entertainment in the lounge from 7 to 10 PM Tuesday through Saturday. Come casual but bring your black tie attitude.

So come to the Ritz Restaurant in Fashion Island on June 23rd to meet professional and amateur filmmakers in a casual (but Ritzy) setting. You'll be networking and sharing resources with a number of OC professionals...and asking James Hirsen why the heck Lindsay Lohan is trying to out-Brittany Brittany Spears.

The Orange County Screenwriters Association (OCSWA) is a not-for-profit organization conceived to be a connective resource of creative energy and real-world materials for professional and amateur writers and filmmakers.
