What other location can provide filmmakers a military backdrop and functional runway for aircraft as well as a concert venue, restaurants, kids park, agricultural fields and even a giant Balloon ride? Don't miss this very special VIP tour of OC's GREAT PARK exclusively for Filmmakers.
This is a rare opportunity to go 'off limits' as this location transitions from the old El Toro Marine Air Station into Orange County's GREAT PARK! Great Park of Orange County and AMCI, the global testing, marketing and event producer for automotive manufacturers, is hosting a very special, custom VIP tour of the Great Park for filmmakers to showcase this fabulous one-of-a-kind location.

The event, produced by the Media Alliance of Orange County, in conjunction with MCAI’s LA/OC Chapter, the Orange County Screenwriters Association, OC Digital Arts, OC Multi Media Assoc PVN and other OC Media Organizations, offers a fun afternoon at the county's most exciting and versatile location for filming.
For location filming there are old military living quarters, outbuildings, hangers, air traffic control towers. The huge runways often used for stunt work for vehicles are a feature of the grounds. The American version of the popular TV show, Top Gear, will be utilizing the runways and spaces at Great Park to film their upcoming episodes. Planes can also be landed on the runways. There is plenty of space to shoot any outdoor situation imaginable and you, as a director/producer, have total control of the exterior space. No traffic, no pedestrians, no hassles.
THE AFTERNOON INCLUDES:
1. A Custom Bus Tour of the Grounds and Facilities for Filmmakers and Media Professionals-including Hangar 295, the Filmmakers 'Basecamp'
2. Presentation on the Great Park as a Filming Location now & future
3. Networking with other Media Professionals
4. Hang out in Hanger 244 (seen on the right) with plenty of free Food - pizza wedges, chicken wraps, Italian sausage and peppers, crab dip with crackers, cheese and grape trays, desserts, and ice tea and lemonade. Beer and wine can be purchased.
