LIGHTS! SOUND! CAMERA! Tips and Tricks from Top Pros!
Join us as three top media professionals share tips and tricks you can use on your next production.  As you know, MCAI meetings attract top professionals from every area of media with the idea that we're all here to help each other, so bring your favorite, hard-learned production techniques to share as well! And don't forget to bring a friend!

Our panel of experts includes MCA-I member and DP/Gaffer Paul Fabian, Production Sound man John Lister and Cinematographer/Director Dan Donley. The Moderator will be MCA-i member Brad Hagen who's company,Video Resources Inc is hostiing the event.

PAUL FABIAN has  30 years experience asl Director of Photography, Lighting Director or Gaffer on  productions for movies, television shows, commercials, music videos, reality shows and documentaries. He is the former co-owner of the Irvine Studios and currently the head of Fabian Lighting and Grip.

JOHN LISTER has done production sound for everything from concerts to commercials. He has worked on just about every kind of program both in studio and on location. Besides freelancing as audio operator, John is the head of Retsil Video based in Yorba Linda.

DAN DONLEY is the principal of Donley Films with over 20 years experience as Cinematographer and Camera Op working in both film and video. He has hundreds of commercials to his credit as well as numerous corporate presentations and besides being known for beautiful images, Dan has produced, directed and been DP on a few feature films as well.

Our Host for the evening is Video Resources Inc. With offices in Orange County and Boston, VRI not only provides video production for corporate clients around the country but also supports other media companies with a variety of services including equipment rentals. Besides a number of RED One cameras (among others) VRI also provides editing and location support.

Video Resources Inc is located in the very rear of the Freeway Business Plaza just south of the 55 (Newport/Costa Mesa) Freeway. From the 55 exit at Dyer Rd and on the south side of the 55 turn onto Pullman Street. The entrance to the Freeway Business Plaza is only about 20 yds past the intersection of Dyer Rd on Pullman. Turn in and head straight to the rear, crossing over RR tracks to find 1809 East Dyer Rd.
