“I’m very pleased with the professional support I’ve received from both local and international members of MCAI,” John said. Coleman served as LA/OC Chapter president from ‘04 to ’06 and has been active on the local board. “I’m looking forward to contributing to the organization on another level. As a true association, it’s really run by the members. So, it’s only as good as those who participate. Fortunately we’ve had some wonderful media professionals running things for the last few years.” Asked if he has any goals for his service, Coleman shared, “I’d like to increase our organization’s use of the web for member communication. I also see room for growth in our service to both chapters and individual members.”

The Media Communications Association-International (MCA-I) is comprised of 27 chapters all over the US as well as chapters in Canada and New Zealand. The association celebrates it’s 40th year in 2008-09 which includes its former identity as the ITVA.
