...Tommy James, Tech Rep from Panasonic; internet entrepreneur Walter Davis; as well as DJ Cooley, one of Adobe’s top instructors; Pro Audio expert and engineer Tim Keenan and OC Film Commissioner, Janice Arrington. They’re all slated to appear. Are you going to join us? It may be Free but you do have to pre-register online at MCAI’s Meetup group: http://www.meetup.com/newmedia-82/
June 4 is just around the corner so register now and mark you Calendar for that first Saturday in June! If you haven’t been to an MCAI MediaProCamp yet, get ready for a concentrated and powerful day of collaboration with fellow professionals from all areas of the media.
The event's unique format starts with “coffee and…” (gratis of course) while we gather and choose topics for the first round of seminars. Attendees suggest topics on any subject that interests them and the most popular topics are assigned a meeting space. We may have anywhere up to six roundtables running simultaneously. Many are intimate groups so the sharing of ideas, solutions and advice makes for powerful networking. All the sessions are deliberately short (45 minutes) to encourage concentrated participation.
Registration opens at 8:00 AM (you must have pre-registered online) and roundtable sessions begin at 9:00 AM. Morning coffee and lunch are provided FREE and we’ll raffle off doorprizes, including an Adobe CS5.5 when it’s all over at 2:45 PM.
This year we’re very pleased to have Panasonic as our primary sponsor. Panasonic is also sponsoring all the MediaProCamps held by MCAI chapters around the country! A big thanks also to Adobe for supplying a CS5.5 to give away. Local sponsors include Creative Media Recording in Cypress and Voice Over Artist This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. SPONSORS & VOLUNTEERS NEEDED We still need more sponsors to help! Besides keeping this a FREE event, your name will reach a long list of media professionals a number of times through your sponsorship. Opportunities of all kinds are available for your support, so give us a call and let’s talk about what you can do to keep the OC media scene vibrant! And if you can’t give money how about your time? MediaProCamp is an all volunteer effort. You can make a difference. Contact John Coleman This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
